Single-axis Tracking PV & BESS System

Single-axis tracking system is a support system that enables photovoltaic modules to rotate with the sun. It rotates around a single axis, usually east-west, so that the modules always face the sun to improve power generation. The system consists of brackets, drive motors, controllers and sensors. It can automatically adjust the angle according to time or sunlight. Compared with fixed brackets, it can increase power generation by 15%–25%. It features simple structure, low cost and good stability, with moderate land occupation. It is widely used in large-scale ground PV power plants, especially suitable for low-latitude areas with sufficient sunlight, making it a mainstream solution balancing efficiency and investment cost.
