Maintenance Contents of Photovoltaic Energy Storage System

1. Maintenance of PV Modules

• Clean dust, bird droppings, leaves and snow regularly.
• Check for cracks, discoloration, hot spots, bulges or burn marks.
• Inspect cable connections for looseness, water ingress or aging.
• Monitor string voltage and current for abnormal attenuation.

2. Maintenance of Inverters

• Check for abnormal noise, odor, overheating and fault codes.
• Ensure good ventilation and no obstruction.
• Inspect DC/AC terminals and reliable grounding.
• Record power generation and operating data.

3. Maintenance of Battery Energy Storage System (BESS)

• Check batteries for swelling, leakage, overheating or odor.
• Keep ambient temperature at 15–25°C.
• Tighten all electrical connections to avoid overheating.
• Monitor voltage, current, SOC, SOH, insulation and balancing.
• Check BMS communication, protection functions and alarms.

4. Maintenance of Power Distribution Cabinets, Cables & Grounding

• Ensure circuit breakers and fuses work normally.
• Check cables for overheating, aging or damage.
• Verify qualified grounding resistance and normal surge protective devices.

5. Maintenance of Monitoring & Communication System

• Ensure normal data upload and background monitoring.
• Check telemetering, remote control and remote signaling functions.
• Handle abnormal alarms in time.

6. Safety & Environment

• Keep fire-fighting equipment in good condition.
• Remove flammable and explosive materials.

• Comply with anti-electric shock and anti-arc specifications.
