2. Core Training Modules

1. Basic Theoretical Training

  • Basics of PV power plants: PV modules, inverters, combiner boxes, brackets, cables
  • Basics of energy storage systems: batteries (mainly lithium iron phosphate), BMS, PCS, EMS, power distribution cabinets
  • Collaborative operation principles of PV and energy storage: logic of power generation – energy storage – discharge – grid-connected / off-grid
  • Basic electrical knowledge: AC/DC, lightning protection and grounding, insulation, protection configuration


2. System Architecture and Equipment Identification

  • On-site equipment distribution, functions and wiring connections
  • Introduction to key equipment:
    • PV modules
    • Central inverters / string inverters
    • Energy storage battery containers / battery racks
    • PCS converters
    • High and low voltage power distribution cabinets, grid connection points
    • Monitoring backstage, cloud platform
  • Explanation of system topology diagrams (primary system + secondary system)


3. Safety Operation Training (Mandatory)

  • High voltage / DC safety specifications, power outage and verification procedures
  • Battery safety: thermal runaway, fire protection, explosion-proof, ventilation
  • Personal protection: insulated tools, safety helmets, insulated shoes
  • Lockout/Tagout (LOTO) operation procedures
  • Emergency response: electric shock, fire, water leakage, abnormal temperature rise


4. System Operation Training

  • Normal start-up, shutdown procedures
  • Manual / automatic mode switching
  • Power setting, charging and discharging strategy configuration
  • Grid connection switchgear, protection setting value viewing
  • Backstage / touch screen operation: real-time data, curves, reports


5. Monitoring System and Cloud Platform Training

  • Operation of EMS (Energy Management System)
  • Monitoring backstage:
    • Real-time data viewing
    • Historical curves, power generation, revenue statistics
    • Alarm information viewing and confirmation
  • Mobile / web cloud platform application
  • Data export and simple analysis


6. Daily Inspection and Maintenance

  • Daily / weekly / monthly inspection items
  • PV module cleaning and shading inspection
  • Connector temperature, wiring terminals, cable aging inspection
  • Battery inspection: voltage, temperature, insulation, appearance
  • Ventilation, air conditioning, fire protection, lighting inspection
  • Vulnerable parts replacement: fans, circuit breakers, terminals, surge protectors


7. Fault Diagnosis and Troubleshooting (Key Practical Training)

  • Meaning of common alarms: overvoltage, overcurrent, over-temperature, insulation fault, communication interruption
  • Typical fault troubleshooting:
    • PV system failure to generate power
    • Energy storage system unable to charge/discharge
    • Grid connection failure
    • BMS alarm
    • Communication disconnection
  • Simple fault troubleshooting steps: check alarms → check status → check wiring → check parameters → reset
  • Faults requiring immediate shutdown and manufacturer contact


8. Maintenance and Service Life Management

  • Battery service life and influencing factors
  • Balance maintenance and capacity calibration
  • Equipment maintenance cycle and plan
  • Spare parts management


9. On-site Practical Training

  • On-site start-up and shutdown operation
